Hi I'm Carl, 

I am the owner of Practice and Pass driving school. (PAP) Just me and Billy (The Car) to help you on your journey.  This means I have no big bosses to please and dead lines to meet. Keeping all of your lessons at your pace with no added stress to you. I'm my own Boss ( in the car at least).

"And" I hear you say what's this mean, 

I run my own diary,  maximise lessons with only a few days waiting for your next lesson.

I don't belong to a franchise and I can do what benefits my students not the bosses'pockets. I don't believe in pay more to achieve more. You will be put into the test when you're ready, every student learns differently. All Driving instructors have to coach to meet the same standard as each other, set out by the DVSA, we all belong to the same Register ADI. The instructor/Pupil relationship is most important to me. It's your journey.

My driving lessons are relaxed and calm to better help you understand the road and the situations. We will do real life driving, going places where you're likely to go once you're a full licence holder as long as all the basics are covered. We can also have music on and sing like no one is listening.

 

After all the fun of the lessons, we do need to pass a test set out by DVSA and prove you are safe to be on your own. I will make sure you will have all the required knowledge and more for the day of your test to meet the criteria set out by DVSA.

I also offer a home visit where I explain the journey and show the process you are going to go through, its a chance for you and others in the household to ask questions and for the learner to meet me and Billy. It helps break the ice and makes the process less stressful.

It is just me, I will give you a professional service that the big wigs say they do. Mine will be better because it's me and my service.

PAP has been running since 2020 and it continues to grow from strength to strength  and I'm really proud of this.
