I just passed my driving test with Carl. First time and I couldn't thank him enough. From our first lesson I felt comfortable, he is a really nice person, he is patient, he explains everything clearly, and went at a pace in which was right for me, i don't think i would of pass as quickly if i wasn't with Carl. i would definitely recommend him as a driving instructor

Carl is such an amazing driving instructor, not only helping me to improve my driving skills but also my confidence in myself that I could do it. He always went above and beyond in our lessons, reflecting areas I had improved on and what areas still needed work at the beginning, and setting out goals and plans about what I was looking to achieve by the end of our lessons so I could reflect on my progress. Was able to pass first time which I couldn’t have done without his amazing ability to be patient and understanding through his teaching. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to drive.

Having lessons with Carl meant that I was able to achieve my goals with confidence, which I was lacking at the start. I didn't think I could be more prepared for the driving world! From the get go he made sure that I understood everything as much as possible before my test, which made the whole experience more comforting and clear.

Carl is by far the best instructor I've ever had (2 previous) nobody else could of helped me pass my practical test. He stuck with me through thick and thin including the pandemic. Through this time he kept me focussed. Everything about Carl is 5 star standard, he new exactly when I needed a push and when I needed help and when I had the skill to just drive. His relaxed demeanour made me feel so relaxed I always felt confident in my ability to drive even if I made the mistake, I never worried. I have never felt so comfortable around people and find it hard to trust, Carls Relaxed attitude and personality made it easy for me to learn the skills I already had in a new way. he would never let me give up. I can Honestly say I trust him completely and his skills as an Instructor is top tier best of the best. Im going to miss him but thanks to him I now have a full Licence. As A key worker I needed to pass my test. I already had 30+ hours experience with another instructor. I was still able to learn new things and better understand situations I got flustered in, which made me feel at ease with Carl, due to his very relaxed teaching style and he doesn't get flustered or stressed out unlike me. I feel that Carls approach in teaching and making me understand how a mistake was made helped me to pass my test. I always felt comfortable asking questions, as Carl has a lot of knowledge to make it easier to understand so I could achieve my goal by the end of each lesson.

One week pass course
I had booked an Intensive Course for my 17th Birthday to start in April. Carl visited me at home and he explained everything and how the system would work. Due to the Pandemic my test was rescheduled, Carl kept me updated and supported me throughout the lockdown which kept me motivated and focused on my test. I passed 1st time all because of my very supportive driving Instructor. I would highly recommend driving with Carl.
